Hi! I'm Joy.

I am a senior and STEAM Scholar at Windward School with passions for math and science, performing and visual arts, and social justice. I have been an avid member of the UCLA Olga Radko Endowed Math Circle starting in fourth grade and am the founder of Windward’s Mathletes Club, which focuses on problem solving and friendly competition. I have also developed a math enrichment curriculum called Math Adventures, which I am teaching to elementary school students with the goal of inspiring a love for math in kids. In addition, I love musical theatre, and have been performing in musicals since kindergarten. My favorite roles so far have been Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz and Big Jule in Guys and Dolls. I also enjoy singing as a mezzo-soprano in Chromatics, Windward’s audition-based choir. In my spare time, I am fond of designing digital graphics, websites, and products for practical use.
